Offline Product Activation (version 5)

Normally, activation of Umango is very straightforward and is largely automated. However, where the installation resides on a computer that does not have an internet connection, activation is a little more manual.

To activate Umango on a computer that is not connected to the internet, follow the steps below.

Open the activation widow (on the Help & Resources tab) and copy and paste the serial number (9 digit number) into a support request asking for manual activation. You will then be emailed a Umango activation key and an OCR engine serial number.

Once you have these, follow the steps below to complete the activation:

1. Enter the Umango activation code in the activation window and press OK. You will then be told that activation is only partially complete.
2. Run the file ...\Umango\[Convert/Extract]\ocr\LicenseManager.exe
3. Once the license manager opens, click "Activate License" and enter the OCR engine serial number (that will need to be provided by your Umango support desk)
4. Click Next and follow the steps to activate via email

NOTE: If you are running i2 Conversion Server, your path is \i2 Software\i2 Convert\ocr\LicenseManager.exe
