Umango uses FTP passive mode to transfer files from most MFD devices. Passive mode performs communication on the primary port and then the file transfer is performed over a separate data port. Depending on which Umango application you install, you need to open port 55021, 55521 or 50021 for in/out traffic used for communication. In addition to the communications port, a range of data ports need to be open for incoming data. This port range is 40022-40037.
