Configuring Domain-Wide Delegation for Google Drive
To delegate domain-wide authority to Umango's Google Drive connector, you need to enable domain-wide delegation within Google Workspace (aka G-Suite). To do this, follow the steps below using a super administrator account in the G Suite domain:
- From the G Suite domain's Admin console, go to Main menu menu > Security > API Controls.
- In the Domain wide delegation pane, select Manage Domain Wide Delegation.
- Click Add new.
- In the Client ID field, enter the value 117546293355738422167
- In the OAuth scopes (comma-delimited) field, enter the scopes email,profile,https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive
- Click Authorize.
Once enabling the Domain-Wide Delegation option within the Umango Google Drive connector, Umango will have the authority to make API calls as users in your domain (to "impersonate" users).
