Why aren't my zones aligned properly? I am reading different information than what I want!

This can be due to many things from scanning with a different resolution than the sample document, or a bad scan, to name a few.

Employ the use of anchors on the sample document. An anchor is an identifiable mark that will appear across all documents that helps the software align a document with its zones when processing.

For best results...

  1. Anchors must use a consistent image or shape across all documents.
  2. Anchors need to be a reasonable amount of ink on the page. Thin lines or small shapes don't tend to work well
  3. Anchors need to be a definable, consistent shape.
  4. Use a small area such a bold title or logo. Anchors that are too large tend to slow processing and give less accurate results.
