Enabling The Umango App On Sharp OSA Devices

To install the application on a Sharp OSA supported device, you will need to do the following;

1. In a browser, open the MFD's web panel
2. Login (via the login button in the top right corner)
3. From the panel's menu; choose Applications / External Applications Settings / Standard Application Settings
4. At the bottom of the table, click the Add button, which will load a form
5. Enter in the following details into the form

1. Name = Umango
2. Address = http://[SERVERIP]:[PORT]/mfd/init
3. Where [SERVERIP] is the return IP address of the machine that Umango is running on; and
4. Where [PORT] is 55580 for Umango Extract or 55080 for Umango Convert
5. Extended Platform is Checked

Then make sure you save the form.

All other options can be left as they are, including the proxy setting. After you have saved the form, 'Umango' will appear in the table on the list of Extended Applications. At the MFP, you can now choose the Sharp OSA option and Umango will appear in the list. If there are no other extended applications installed, it will launch Umango.

Make sure to check for obvious network hurdles, such as firewalls or advanced proxies.
