Unable to configure email for SMTP with Office365

When configuring export to Office365 email settings you may experience difficulty connecting using the settings below recommended by Microsoft:

SMTP Server: smtp.office365.com
Port: 587
SSL: Enabled

In order to resolve this, use port 25 with SSL enabled as seen below:

SMTP Server: smtp.office365.com
Port: 25
SSL: Enabled

With the above settings in place, export to Office365 email should work. However, this assumes you only need to send from one email address. If you need to be more flexible then you may need to use an email relay. For full details on configuring this, please read the instructions in the link below.
