Embedding on Sharp OSA Devices
In order for shortcuts to the Umango App to be automatically added to a Sharp device when assigning it as a source, the Umango OSA app must be configured on the device.
To do this, follow the steps below.
- In a browser, open the device's web panel
- Login (if necessary)
- From the panel's menu; choose System Settings >> Sharp OSA Settings >> Standard Application Settings. (For models prior to CR4: choose Applications >> External Applications Settings >> Standard Application Settings)
- At the bottom of the table, click the Add button, which will load a form.
- Enter in the following Details in to the form
- Name = Umango
- Address = http://{SERVERIP}:{PORT}/mfd/init where {SERVERIP} is the return IP address of the machine that Umango is running on; and where {PORT} is, 55580 for Umango Extract or 55080 for Umango Convert
- Extended Platform is Checked
- Then save the form.
