PDF encryption options support password protection of a document and only allow some features to be available to users without a password. Some features are only available with documents that are encrypted using 128bit methods.
Note: The pdf/a standard does not provide for encryption and therefore if encryption is selected, the resulting files will not meet the pdf/a standard.
Allows the user to print the document, but possibly not at the highest quality level. (See 'Can Print (Full)' option below.)
Allows the user to copy or extract text and graphics from the document.
Allows the user to modify the document.
Allows the user to add annotations.
The following options are only available when 128 bit encryption is used
Allows the user to fill-in form fields.
Enables copying or extracting for use with accessibility features.
Allows the user to assemble the document.
Allows high resolution printing of the document.
